Ride Report: The Three Sisters

This past Saturday, myself and three friends went to ride the three sisters out in Leakey. Although these photos aren't of the twisties that we encountered, I thought I would share some pictures of the ride.

The day before (Friday) we did brewery tours at the Shiner Brewery, the Real Ale Brewery, and the Fredericksburg Brewery, all in the same day.

Badass pictures, great scenery. Thanks for sharing, I'd love to ride the 3 sistahs and sample some fine beers one day.

The 3 sisters are a great reason to live in the SATX area. I was out there last saturday as well, it was a great day to ride!

Did you all stop in the motorcycle museum? It is almost worth the trip by itself.

I'll add, watch for the cattleguard signs on 336. Most are on straights, but one is in the middle of a turn.

I was there last year with a friend, and the roads were kind of sketchie (loose gravel, road melting). Had new fearings that got chipped up, but I was following a 1000rr. How is the road quality?

The road quality was fine last weekend. There wasn't any noticeable gravel.

You do need to be careful on the cattle guards though. One bottomed out my suspension when I went over it at 70.

I was out there again today. It was pretty clear except for one corner on 335 which had a little bit of gravel, but really nothing to worry about.
