I take it that "death clutch" was the name of the group w/in meetup-dot-com?

I found that site before MH. There was one group called Grand Parkway Twisters which became Greater Houston 2-Wheel Crew (or something like that); I think it's changed even again. "GH2" spent months hyping up a ride that went to some back-alley bar that changed it's name WELL before the ride, so I couldn't find it. I was p|ssed and never came back.

As for other groups on Meetup, it seems that Houston Gixxers is growing... hey all I know is that people actually show up to the MH rides, so why bother w/ anything else?

Back on topic, what's with the "ghey-" name? They complained about your screen name (which was...?) or you complained about theirs? Wha-happened?

It folds you up a bit more than some of the others, but I got used to it. On say an R1 or something I feel stretched out. I've gotten to where I prefer the seating position now. My first ride on an RC was about 5 miles of agonizing pain, but the bike was so much fun I went and bought my own. 90,0000 miles later I still have no intention of getting rid of it...not like it's worth much now haha

Why all the hatred? If you love to ride, does it really matter if you're part of a MC, RC, SBC ?? We're all on here because we love to be one two wheels. That's a brotherhood that runs deeper than a patch or jacket, am I right?

I feel proud seeing another "brother" on the road and I always acknowledge him/her regardless of colors or patches. Most of us do this because we love to ride, not because we have to.

lol lol lol i understand that... I bought my 954 a few years back and it only had 5000K when i bought it.. The dude pampered it... I got almost 33K on it now.... I love that bike... Everyone talks about gixxers but i have never ridden one so i have nothing to really compare to..... But yeah i read in a few reviews that the RC is a lil painful to get used to but is a sweet ride once you get used to it... I found a dude on EBAY that had one it only had like 1200 miles on it.. he worked at a dealership and it was the last one they had so he bought it whatever year he got it and it went straight to a climate control storage and only came out every 6 months for fluid changes and maybe a lil running to lube internals up and it was CHERRY.. But he wanted like 8K for it

And just so you guys know, I'm an organizer for Death Clutch as well.

My good friend started the RC, SBC, whatever you wanna call it. I just like the fact that we can get together, shoot the $#!t and ride as a group somewhere. I'm too old for all the showoffs and speed racers out there. I ride because I love to ride. I do it legally and safely (ATGATT) because I do have a 6 year old daughter and a 10 year old son that I want to see grow up and eventually get his first bike as well.

If you love to ride, then ride. If not with a group that shares your passion, then by yourself.

Since you are an organizer (and seem to have a coherent grasp on the English language, unlike your compatriot there) perhaps you could explain why the OP was kicked out of the group. Nice way of representing your organization, by the way, I hope for your sake he isn't an officer.
