I went to one of the early ones before bikes started showing up. Not exactly a neighborhood I'll leave my bike unattended for a beer or food.

Chill spot but the parking lot fills up quick once people start rolling in.

I really don't see why your bike would be far enough that it being "unattended" would really matter....

If we do the central bike meet there, it will be open to whoever wantes to come....but the very main part of the parking lot will be for just bikes and bikes would be priority parking in the front...

So don't see how that would be an issue, at all...

It's not in a neighborhood and crime can happen anywhere buddy.

Also, this is a meet, I highly doubt someone will steal your bike in front of the crowd of people in the parking lot. It also wont be un-attended for there will be other people in the parking lot with you. I'm not saying that this can't

happen, but it is highly unlikely.

The lighting seems ok too. If I were to park my bike in any spot of this parking lot, Id be comfortable leaving it there.

Every Monday Meet at Arkem's Lot

We will have the lights and music on for you guys and drinks and food.

"New Rider" will be setting up the event (all sides Bike Meet) is for the Bikes mainly. there will be only a few cars involved. so you guys would have more space. But you guys are always welcome to come on monday anyways.
we are still working out a date and time but well keep you guys posted.

Thanks

I meant if anyone decided to hit up a local bar or something. Its not a nice area, we all know that.

uhhh.... agreed? See above.

I've been to this spot and the NASIOC crowd makes a pretty steady appearance, parking a bike isn't an issue. Worrying about somebody taking off with it is VERY unlikely. The parking lot itself is not out in the open and the area is pretty well blocked in with a single entrance/exit.

For NewReader's clarification, I don't mind riding down for a Monday meet but wouldn't leave my bike unattended in the surrounding areas (wait for it.... ie neighborhood).
