It was in my cage though. Get an attorney. Class b Misd. it can be lowered to class c which is like a speeding ticket and then you can do deferred adjudication. Don't know about the bike though. Case dissmissed.

I had a friend that got charged a year ago for that, HIRE a GOOD LAWYER it cost him monthly payments to his lawyer, Court time and finally about a years probabtion and a fine Roughly $500 but thousands of lawyer fees to get that. If your doing it all bt yourself goodluck it is not easy to fight by yourself, And the judge will throw the book at you and rape you badly if not represented. They were talking about throwing him is jail. Had to wear an ankle monitor for the first month that sucked. Under house arrest is a . Down here in San Antonio they dont screw around with speeding, racing, wreckless driving. They bury your in charges just to get even. I believe they cloked him at 110 in a 65mph zone.

+1 I only paid 250 in court fees. Attorney cost me a lot though. I would recommend my attorney but he is a bit pricey. he doesn't know much about cars and bikes since he is a crimminal att. His dad is well known so my case got dismissed but cost me a buck. pluss hater cop description didn't help at all.

Since he didn't clock me he actually arrested me for reckless driving, also stated that he was doing over 100 and couldn't keep up and that i almost caused 4 accidents which if it was true why he didn't turn the lights or siren. I stopped at a red light, he was at that point behind me and after the light changed to green and we started to move he turned the siren and lights.

I admit I was driving fast, doing some stupid testing on my car. Causing the accidents is a lie, there was no traffic at all.

He didn't ask anything just asked to step out of the vehicle and arrested me. He actually didn't have any prove and still arrested me. It was more of a hate arrest. I am mexican and when he was filling all the paperwork i could see his racism towards me and somewhat money. Not that i am rich but he made many comments towards it.

I mean, he is a cop doing his Job but as much as i was doing wrong driving fast, he shouldn't have lied about it either.

Arrest yes. Lie about causing 4 accidents where he stated that 4 vehicles stopped because of me NO. There were no cars anywhere. That is what the Judge off.

Plus during the arrest cop was asking where do i work, what do i do, how much money I make, if i make money on the side that i don't report bla bla bla. The usual jokes from what i hear, like telling me thanks for allowing me to meet the quota. Man i rather arrest people, more money for me. Why do you carry two wallets, make yourself at home cause the phones don't work, etc.

Almost got a wreckless for wheelie'n on the freeway(dang cop was hiding behind a semi) Anyway turns out he was a biker too and knew some of the same people I did so he let me out of the back of the car and took off the cuffs. I was sooo happy that I don't wheelie anymore on the freeway I am mature now you know. :icon_smil

"cop gave me a ticket for no inspection sticker..but it's clearly on my swingarm. how do i go about getting that dismissed."

I've been under the impression, that state law requires the inspection sticker to be placed in a certain location on a vehicle.

"
Subch. E. ISSUANCE, RECORDING, AND PROOF OF INSPECTION CERTIFICATES AND VERIFICATION FORMS

* * * * *

TRC 548.255.

ATTACHMENT OR PRODUCTION OF INSPECTION CERTIFICATE.

(a) An inspection certificate shall be attached to or produced for a vehicle in the manner required by department rule.

(b) The department shall:

(1) require that a certificate for a motorcycle be attached to the rear of the motorcycle near the license plate; and

(2) adopt rules with respect to display of an inspection certificate for a moped."

your inspection is supposed to be near your license plate.......near is relative and putting it onthe swingarm is asking to get stopped and appearntly getting ticketed.

i got arrested for doing a wheelie on 146 in kemah...i was charged with wreckless endangerment, he lied also...he said i stood on my seat and was doing an excess speed of over 100 mph! BS!! i was doing a staggered wheelie and was probly more about 50 mph, at the time my bike was geared -1 +7 so it would BARELY do 110 and that was topped out so theres NO WAY i couldve been goin that fast.....anyways class b had togo to gtown county

"but thats where the inspector put it. cop didnt see it and he wont let me say anything or show it to him."

Let me guess, you installed, or got it with a FE right?

Inspector just put it in the closest place they could w/o
risking themselves liable I would imagine... as they would possibly could
have been if they had placed it on the stoplight/tail-lamp etc.
Some of the seemingly smallest things can get you a decent
ticket/fine.

You can go to court, and see what happens.
