I am back home. Where everybody gone? We went to the strand with couple folks, I wondered there a bit, when get back my bike was surrounded by cruisers. So I cruised up and down the wall and then took the ferry and went home. The ride was nice, except Marlon's accident of cause. We were in the front, so haven't seen the crash. We all jumped on brakes pretty hard, not sure what happened exactly. Marlon looked ok. Bike was totaled.

The crash happened about 4 bikes in front of me. I was pelted by plastic. Hope Marlon is ok.

Sorry to hear about the crash. Hope everybody is OK.

Me and my buddy John went down thu-sat. I like it better when it's not so crazy crowded.

Some pics...

I heard from another rider there was traffic on 610, lanes were narrowed down to only 2. So someone yelled out "we'll follow you" I heard from other riders who have lead, that no matter what your going to have a rider go down. As I was on 610 just past 288, I was thinking to myself "just get to hooters safely, just get to hooters safely"

I feel bad because I was leading you were all following my pace, everyone said the pace was fine even the guy on the 250. I wish there was some way I could've saw that ahead of time. It caught me off gaurd.

Dude...Relax... happens..

When you're in front...It's hard to know what's behind you...

Not only that, you can't control the rest of traffic.

Wasen't your fault. The group was riding a little too tight in my opinion. People need to leave enough distance to react to other factors.

I'll get over up, just glad they were ok enough to stand and walk around. I didn't know who went down when I was finally able to catch back up with them.

What kills me is the fact I was stressing so much about gettin caught for speeding and NOT 1 cop was on the highway.

@ Craig, yeah I heard you guys were kinda tight back there. I have know idea why:shrugs: we all know whwere to go and unless your only a 50cc scotter you could've easily caught up

I don't know why either . There were a couple of guys behind me hanging back and keeping distance, but there was alot of traffic. When we came over the pass I saw break lights and waved my arm for the people behind me to slow down and that is when I saw Marlo crash in front of me. His bike kept going and rear ended the couple. The dood that got rear ended was . He threw his helmet down and a truck ran it over. I was just just trying to make sure all involved were ok physically at that point.

Not my job to collect info, just making sure all involved were ok.

I was a little late in joining the group but I found you guys parked on the side cause of the wreck. That was the first time I've been ridin with more than 2 people! It was a lot of fun. I wouldn't mind doing that more often. lol

Bevo, Longdraw, jimrad are some good group leaders to ride with. Don't ride beyond yourself or your bike and you will be fine.
