yeah thats what i was worried about, who knows what sort of damage that idiot did to the engine which may not be apparent . . . but the insurance guys are saying that if the damage is less i have no option but to take it back after repairs.

Have them have a mechanic do compression test, leak down test and check the clutch and transmission then see what the repair costs come to. Maybe even do a dyno to make sure it's got proper power. If all that clears you probably have a pretty solid bike.

thats good advice, will surely get them to do those except for the dyno, dont think motorcycles unlimited have one

i just went to the impound yard to take a look at what sort of damage has been done . ..

man that guy wrecked my bike, its in pieces . . . i guess it may get salvaged now.
and now i know how he got caught, he crashed real bad and had to be taken to the hospital by the cops . . . stupid

well, i got a call from the district attorneys office to confirm some information . . . they said he's gonna get between 2-10 years . . . it seems there are some other charges like evading arrest
