IM GRATEFUL.

HEY EVERY BODY, I DONT GET ON HERE MUCH, BUT IVE BEEN A MEMBER FOR ALONG TIME. MY FIRST BIKE WAS TAKEN BACK IN 2007 AND THE POLICE RECOVERED IT LAST WEEK. 4 YEARS LATER. IM AMAZED. IT WAS TAKEN FROM SOME APARTMENTS ALONG WITH A TRUCK. THEY PULLED SOME GUYS OVER ONE ON MY BIKE AND ANOTHER WITH EXPIRED TAGS ON IT, RAN THE VIN AND CALLED ME UP. I HOPE THE GUY THAT WAS CAUGHT ON IT ROTTS IN AND ALL THE OTHERS THAT WERE INVOLVED TOO. IT COST ME 200.00 TO GET IT OUT OF IMPOUND, IT CAUSED ME STRESS EVERYTIME I SAW THE PAYMENT IN THE MAIL , AND WILL COST ME MONEY TO GET ALL THE LOCKS AND FAIRINGS REPLACED. IM GRATEFUL THAT HPD RECOVERED IT. FOR ALL OF US HARD WORKING PEOPLE THAT EVERY DOLLAR COUNTS, SOME TIMES IT PAYS OFF. CHARMA WELL BITE THEM IN THE A**. THANKS.

wow congrats. Yea I'm still holding out for mine. My bro got his gsxr stolen and returned 2 years later. It was sitting in a warehouse in Dallas. Almost exact same condition, less than 100 more miles on it.

Mine was stolen in 2000. I saw it again on a ride to "Mexico". It was obvious it had been stored the whole time.

yes, your choice depending on the damage, but if it was my bike stolen, I dont want it back, my luck, they probably ragged the motor and it would be near death. If anybody is gonna rag and kill my motor its gonna be me.

Crazy story! Hey, at least you got your bike back. There are so many threads about bikes getting stolen, and how many of them are actually recovered? Not many at all.

Better late than never right? Glad you got your bike back.
