, another bike accident this morning

Another student just showed up late for class and said he'd been sitting with a severely injured rider on a sportbike at huffmeister and hempstead. Student said it was a one vehicle accident. Rider was doing about 60 per witness and veered off road into ditch for no apparent reason. No gear. Witness said rider was in very bad shape.

I disagree whenever someone posts this. Its really probably more like:

mmmmmm..........60mph + ditch + n/gear = bad news
mmmmmm..........60mph + ditch + gear = get up and hobble the away.

Wear your gear people.

Had a crash few years ago.. had my gear on, plus knee pads.. it wasn't 60 but close enough... came up with a rash and sprain ankle.. " thank " ... some are not that lucky but I was that day....

Please wear ALL you gear EVERY time.. if it's too hot for you to wear your gear then stay the f&*^ in... simple.
