valve adjustments

I have a buddy with an 07 gixxer 750 that needs to get his valves adjusted. He's out n orange texas, and commin to houston for a bit. 22k miles on it,everyone is asking about 800-1k for the surgery. Any place cheaper here?

+1, I would check with Motorcycles Unlimited.

My quote for an entire 18k mile maintenance including a valve adjustment was much less than that, not sure what the difference would be on that bike however it's worth checking.

I hear ya, but for $800 I could buy me some sweet tools and a service manual.
Now that I'm old and I have all this experince workin' on it seems easy. Getting chicks, now that's hard when you get old.
Maybe I should offer to work on you young guys bikes in exchange for your women. I'm sure I could be finished with them faster than I can adjust valves.
