Angry Need help/advise-problems with a dealer

First off I have never been ripped off ever in my life. I now know what it feels like... I bought a 2006 ZX-6r a lil over a month ago. It was used with 1400 or so miles from a dealer. Ok the sales man did tell me that it was tracked and the fairings and tires were taken off of it. It was put back together and it was i like new condition. I went to the dealer for about 2 weeks tryin to get him to come down on the price...he did a lil bit...so i bought it. I checked it out at the dealer up and down and it looked flawless.

I get it home and start lookin it over again and its missing all kinds of parts!!! The salesman told me it was all put back together...WTF Its missing the clutch switch, front brake lever switch, kickstand safety switch, and the radiator resevoir. So the next day i went back and told him what was missing and he looks at me like what...r u serious? i couldnt tell if he had already known they were missing...so he tells me he will get them on order...then 4 days after that the bike starts overheating because the fan will not come on...so i take it in and tell him to fix it since it is still under warranty...

i left to vegas for 15 days and when i got back it still aint fixed and the parts still aint on order....i finally give em an ear full so they fix the fan prob but still dont have my parts in yet...its been over a month!!!! The bike also still runs very very hot when i come to a stand still...the fan cuts on but the temp gets up to 238F..is this because the resevoir is missing....i am tired of messin with the guys and i dont even want the bike any more...

:confused1 what should i do??? What can i do???

I rather not say because i might persue legal actions against them and i dont know if that will affect my case if they might read this thread....

It doesn't affect your case, it does help us know which dealer to avoid.

If they do not offer a warranty on the bike, then no, they are not obligated to do s***.

Now tell us who you got it from so we can flame them.

legal action against dealerships is normaly a LONG time consuming process, did you finance it? if so has the lender contacted you yet? if you did finance and a rep from the lender callls to verify a few things the sales man shoulve gone over with you, tell him your unhappy with the sale, and dont want anything to do with it and your taking it back. When you do that, the lender wont fund the dealerships sell in return the dealership has no choie but to take it back. if its been over a month im sure its already been funded so call them up and talk to their GM i cant remember if motorcycle dealerships have some sort of rating or feedback thing, i know car dealers have something called "csi" theyd drink to keep negative things off of it. do a little homework and see if they do. threaten to report them. (if you want PM me and ill give you my buddies number who runs a dealership and he'll tell you exactly what to do.) goodluck

Oh . My bike is there too. Mine has been there about a month. They tried denying my warranty once because I extended the rear plate wire and put a different bulb in it. They waited three weeks to let me know.

You and me both. I wouldn't be so mad if I was told in a timely manner, but 3 weeks?!?!?! Hopefully it'll be ok though. I explained everything about the bike, and the service advisor said he would try to work something out, and sounded sincere. Hopefully it works out in the end.

I've been physically going up there at least once a week, and other than my tail section being off, it's been the same every time. Mine is that blue 06. . . right side a little scratched.

I think 636cc of Fury had problems with them in the past, but with the old owners.
