Last Minute Adventure Through Livingston Saturday 9/24/11

Looking to hit some sweet roads in Livingston this Saturday morning. Went through there a couple weekends ago and it was some of the best roads I've been on in a while. Definitely a change from the same ol same.

Title reads 'Adventure' because I remember about half the route, but not the entire route. I will be checking some routes to familiarize myself with as much as possible before Saturday. However, if anyone that is familiar with the area is available, I would gladly welcome you along. Also, as long as I have my iPhone with GPS, we can easily get through it.

Date: Saturday September 24, 2011
Meet Spot: Flying J - FM242 @ 59
Time: 8AM
KSU: 8:30AM

The pace will be spirited, but safe and enjoyable. No one wants trouble with the Po-Pos or any down riders.

Helmet
Jacket
Gloves
Boots
Knee/Shin Protection
Jeans or Riding Pants
Proper registration/inspection, MC endorsement. I won't check, but the Po-Pos will if we get stopped.

Rules:
1. Gas up upon arrival to meet spot.
2. Ride smart, safe, and within YOUR comfort zone.
3. No one left behind. We will stop and wait at the end of each stretch or at any turn-offs. No need to ride beyond your ability just to keep up.

See you there!

Not very long. Since we're not stopping to eat anywhere in there, we should be done around 11ish...no later than noon.

It's not a ride unless there's food

People typically stop at the Hop in Coldspring on 150.

IndyRC,

What route do you use when you go through Livingston?

I've got a couple of different routes I go and I recently got some new roads out there from texlurch. I've tried a few of them and plan to check out a couple more, but not sure if I'm going to include them in my regular ride or not.

BTW I don't have a map handy that I can send you of the route, sorry.

Well, if you can PM what you know or a map anytime today, that would be most appreciated.
