Exclamation warning I-10 west near San Felipe

All,

I drove my bmw cage to and from San Antonio this week. The road maintenance guys are resurfacing about 25 miles of I-10. The outbound section to San Antonio is asphalt stripped: jagged diamond shaped grooves in sway patterns. Even in my 330i I found the road very rough, loud and my car following the patterns. Be careful on this stretch please if you are on a bike!

I'll be sure to watch out if I go that way in my Geo Metro, which I have and love even though it's only running on 3 cylinders and has no radio or a/c.

I noticed this mess last wednesday omw to SA. Everyone definitely needs be carefull thru here, bike or cage. I have an 03 mazda 6, and as I was passing thru here the unpaved road made my car want to drive off road. It will put you out of your lane rather fast, thanks again for the heads up Lucy.

Even trade?

BTW, I have a ratchet strap holding the passenger door shut, some plastic duct taped in for a side window, and no back seats. But I'm down for an even trade!
