Right Hand Only

Not originally being from this state there are some laws that are different from Packer country - Like:
It is way illegal to ride without eye protection in the Cheese Head state unless you have a windshield that covers to the midpoint on the forehead (between the eyes and top of the noggin) when seated in a normal riding position.
Also, it's required that you ride with both hands on the bars unless using the arm for hand signals and such.
Last month I made a guy riding with us ride at the back because he didn't have eye protection. We didn't want him going down in front of us because he was trying to inhale a Junebug through his eye.
I see a lot of guys riding "right handed only" down here and leaning on the tank with the other, or they got it up on their hip. Sometimes I do this. Even passed the bacon and they didn't do anything.

Florida is also pretty strict on the "both hands on the bars" law. A friend and I were riding in Daytona during bikeweek and were stopped because he took his left hand off the bar.
Even though it was only for a couple of seconds the popo saw it and pulled us over. He didn't ticket us but he gave us a talking to about it and the eye protection law as well. (we were wearing eye protection but he threw in that lecture free of charge).

My phone still has the old button pad. One had is fine. I even have the little "feeler" bumps so I don't even need to look at the phone.

Did you visit Beloit much? The toilet bowl of the state. That's why they named it that. Sounds like a big splashing down. My band used to frequent the dumps down there in the late 80s.

Kinda, I dated a chic that lived there but it was no place I ever wanted to spend much time in ....or maybe she lived in South Beloit. I don't remember now.

You're required by law to tell everyone you know if you get a ticket for something that stupid.

It's obvious we all now know what you tend to fixate on all day long. At least your "proud" enough to "come out" with it.
Probably makes you a little frustrated at times that the trottle is on the right, huh I'd rather not talk about your ultimate fantacy anymore -

So - Has anyone around here been pulled over for riding one hand off the bar?
Friendswood cops will probably pull you over for thinking about taking a hand off.

It pays to be ambidextrous.

No its not illegal to ride with one hand. Or no hands. That however will not stop a cop for pulling you over for "reckless driving."

That said I have never heard of anyone getting pulled over for riding with one or more hands off the bike.
