LSTD @ TWS (Texas World Speedway) 10/1 First time rider discount

A couple friends of mine and I will be attending TWS (Texas World Speedway) October 1st with LSTD. For one friend, it is his first track day and if I am not mistaken a lot of organizations offer first time rider discount? Anyone know if LSTD offers that and how to go about getting that setup? I did not see anything on their site about it.

He will also need to rent a suit, gloves and possibly boots.

To my knowledge they do not offer discounts for first timers, however, your best bet is to contact Jeff or Tom and ask them.

No, we have had and always will have our novice school available at every non-cmra event. Any of our events have the Advanced Rider School, including the CMRA Friday events.

To the OP, we don't offer a discount, but appreciate your thinking of us! We charge a little more for our schools and for our track days because, well, they're worth it. You'll understand once you experience one of our events

We do have some instructors that will be happy to lend gear, but we don't have a rental service. Truth is that you might as well buy some good safety equipment because once you come to a track day, you'll be buying it anyway. Don't skimp on safety equipment.

Feel free to email me at the address posted in the previous post, we're happy to help!

I couldnt agree with you more. I have attended a couple LSTD events now, I have all of my gear but I was enquiring for a friend who I have been trying to get out on the track.

Thanks for the responses I think I will direct him to Motorcycles Unlimited for gear rental, unless someone on hear would be willing to loan out some gear!
