Rally Report...

OK so a small group of 4 of us met up with some peeps over at the gas station near PP1 and they made it sound like they had a ride down to G-Town all figured out. Taking "great" scenic route to the rally. It was BS!!! No offense this guy was cool and all but let's just say don't depend on your GPS for everything. Have rides like that TRUELY planned next time instead of playing it by ear. Once we finally got to a "rest" stop half of us formed our own lil group and took another way where we went through some twisties and highway...not catching light after light like the others I am sure of. If I wanted to take that route that the guy had planned I would have taken my 50.
Anyways enough cause once we got down here and got our room and headed back out I had a blast. Saw a couple of MH peeps and chatted with them for a min. Needless to say I hope everyone was safe and enjoyed themselves.

Yeah I was on that ride. Thought that we were suppose to drive to PP2 then G-town, but they said that I-45 was shut down to 2 lanes so they were taking another route. Would of broke off but was lost until we got to Freeport. Didn't get to G-town until 2pm. By then, had to turn around and head home. If I would of know that ya were headn there in a faster route, would of went with ya.

Yea we meet up at PP1 meet the guys in that group and took off, they were just too big and sounded like their route was kinda outta the way, so 6 of us slpit off and went 288 to 6 to 45, no traffic on 45 and an nice ride out there, by the time we got out there the 6 of us 5 sport bike one cruiser had linked up with about 20-30 harley riders, had fun but that down there is some crazy stuff. Got lots of great pics!

The I-45 thing did suck this morning at 7:20, took shepherd to 610 then jumped back onto I-45. Seen a few bikes this morning heading southbound but non were the sport variety and ALL looked equally as cold...
