I'd imagine parts availability would be better for the honda. Though maybe not by much.

You could sell me the Honda for $100 bucks and make a huge profit!

Why the don't i ever come accross free crf450s???

Both would be great but i'm partial to honda. Keep your yamaha for the dirt, since the bike has history behind it and it's been your main use for it so far. Supermoto the honda. If you don't like it, you still have your dirt ride setup how you like it. Just my .02

I would sell the honda and buy a badass SM setup for the other bike. Save money and would still have a dirt and SM bike.

The only downside to that is the suspension set up. Either have to have a spare set of suspension to change out for either dirt or SM and change each time he does one or the other. OR, he keeps it set up for one style and deals with the lacking performance when riding the other style.

yeah he wrecked it it has a bent sub frame and that's it. he is closing in on 50 fifty years old and hasn't fixed it yet. he used to race a long time ago and has now after that wreck, totally given up. him and his wife are building a house out near cleveland and he just wants to get rid of it. signed the title and everything.
