Track Bike... Street set up!

for those that asked me.. here you go! just a few things I did to my track bike so I can ride it on the street LEGAL.

you need front lights, tail lights, brake lights, mirrors and your plate... turn signals? well... use your hands!

when its time to do your state inspection I think you have to have turn signals so until then you are good to go..

I went to O'reily and got a few parts for lest then $100 bux to have all the lights set up.. they come with wires and switch.

here you go..
.

took all the body work so I can run the wires.. you have to find a good ground so I use the one for the batter under the gas tank.

Mounted the light right under the front upper fairings..

Track Bike... Street set up!

this is my tail/brake light for now.. I'm getting a different one next week or so for better night riding.
Track Bike... Street set up!

I used the stock connection of the rear tail light wires so the lights will come on every time I brake..

and now.. the license plate!

Track Bike... Street set up!
Track Bike... Street set up!

so far so good..

Keep in mind that the front lights are not a good as your factory lights of course. people will see you but it maybe a little hard to see in very dark streets.. I use my bike for commuting right now so I always ride with light out side.

I've found that blue painters tape repairs just about any portion of those street plastics.

you dont need blinkers... is not like people see them any ways.. I rather use my hands and point at them when I'm changing lanes...
