Who lives in Richmond?

Just moved out here from Pasadena. I'm in the sunrise meadow neighborhood, and I've noticed several bikes out here, anyone from Mh?

If the weather is decent, I'll be hitting those back roads in the morning looking for some good BBQ.

While my address may say Richmond, I'm on the edge of the Katy area. My subdivision is Fieldstone.

Head out on FM 359 about 2 miles past Pecan Grove and check out the Swinging Door for really tasty BBQ..I grew up out there in the "sticks".
After getting some grub, take McCrary Rd. (next to the resturaunt) until dead-ends on Skinner Ln. where you can take a left or a right for some twisities. But be careful..its a tight 2 lane road where line of sight is limited and no run off to speak of, other than barbed wire fences and trees...

It's sad to see urban sprawl has taken over my old homestead... get kinda bummed when I ride out there now...used to be nothing but cow pastures, country side and rice fields with no traffic at all when I was a wee lad getting chased around on my dirtbike by the sheriff's office.
Oh the memories!

only about 4-5 good turns out there before you have to turn around and find another road...

I live out in pecan grove, if you know of any other good roads out there, please let me know. I usually ride the skinner -> mccrary rd. thing when I have some free time, unfortunately, it's not on the way anywhere for me.

Attended many a "kegger" in Pecan Grove when I was in high school, still have a few friends that still live there...
Yep...pretty short run to nowhere(except for the Swinging Door), but at least it's not straight like 95% of the roads in H-town..
You can always run down 99 and hit Crabb River Rd and check out Brazos Bend State park which isn't to far from ya...if you are so inclined. Just watch out for those pesky Texas sized tar snakes

59 and 99 (Crabb River). There's 2 or 3 in my house who ride, depending on the day.

I am in for the Richmond meet up just let me know when...

Sounds like a plan. I'd probly bring the girl, and ride over to the state park after lunch.
