There really are no plug and play kits (except for the bulb connector)... and finding space to mount the ballasts is a .

My concern is that I'm about mechanically inclined as a brick and am not sure what all I need to order. I installed my fender eliminator kit and combination tail light/turn signals (both from CBR HEAVEN.COM) and that is about as involved as I am comfortable with. Which brightness did you go with?

Yamar621, sorry, wasn't me the other night. And iDreaM, I just may take you up on it!!!! Going to order in the AM, probably from DDMTuning.com. Will definitely give you a shout if I need ya! Think I am gonna go with the 6000k kit, supposed to be the brightest from what I understand. I guess anything above 6000k just gets bluer and dimmer as it goes up.

As far as light output, the brightest is in between 4000-5000K.
OEM HID is commonly rated at 4300K.

Above 5000K is where you get into the blue wavelength and lower light output.

I agree with most of the guys here too. I got my HIDs from DDM Tuning. The ballasts are slim and easy to hide. I put them on my CBR600RR too and they are awesome. I went with 10000k. I get a nice blue hue out of them and they are bright as . It's not that hard to install them. If you need help, let me know.

DDMTuning has lifetime warranty on HIDs...and they live by there word I recently had a bad bulb and shipped the entire kit back to them and I received a new kit about a week later. Not bad for $50/2 year old HIDs
