I don't think I was the first one in here. In fact, I'm not all that overly concerned about some stunting epidemic ruining the streets of Houston.

I find the mindset needed for defending kind of thing thoroughly entertaining and that's why I stick around. I'd have more respect for someone who replies with "yeah, I'm an for doing that". At least then you'd be honest.

We're all doing something stupid day in and day out. Being able to recognize it's stupid is what's really important.

I actually agree with you on everything but the gear. I actually follow stunting guide a bit and IMO you see more of the top guys wearing good gear than not. But at the same point I choose to wear it and could care less if others do or not. I just know it hurts like a when you slide on the ground.

But I LOVE wheelies and ride a few everytime I ride a bike. Street track love it all. Love wheelies and see no prob with them. I have more of a prob with the dumbass's people that some in here think have the "right" or "freedom" to drive a car on the road and don't say about them smoking, eating, texting,, putting on make up, changing the Ipod, spanking kids sometime multiple of them at the same time and don't say about it. But want to talk about someone riding a wheelie doing burnouts, speeding just cus they are on a bike and "giving them a bad name" bullshit

Last spring I was headed south on 45 and came up to a traffic jam of sorts. Everyone was slowing down, then going a little.
Mr. Stunter in the middle lane was slowing down to 45 and then practicing his wheelie. He was "practicing". He'd pop it up and accellerate to about 60 weaving his stupid all over the lane, and drop it down, slow to 45 and pop it again. Obviously craddle guy had the embarrassed out of him, but I'd like to know how cool he would feel if he would have made a soccer mom with little kids behind him have to swerve and wreck to miss his . 100 to 1 says the helmet cam video would have ended just the same. He would have booked his skinny loser out of there. If you think stunting on a freeway is ok - I'd have to ask you why it's not legal.
If you want to park your own car on a side street and run your bike into the end of it at 150- be my guest. Just don't do it to an innocent on the freeway because your ATGATT.

More than likely not 20hp, but it made a huge differance.

Are you going to make it to GSS this Saturday on Bevo's ride? Or do you have other plans. Would be nice to finally meet you Ivan.

My wife even laughed when I showed her this. People like to see wheelies. I had one guy beg me to do one on the freeway, he was in a car waving his arm. I didn't have any experiance with wheelies so I shook my head no. Personally I would not attempt a wheelie with other factors around, but someone with the experiance poses no threat to others unless there is a 2 by 4 in the lane ahead.
