I would say it's due to the rider and the unknowns of the bike.

Coming from an 04 750, the 06/07 600/750 (had/have both) handle WAY better than the 04/05.

to make the newer gsxrs turn really well you need to raise the back and front of the bike up. once you do that have good tires on it. it will handle like its on rails. just ask all the peole that do routes at pp1 that have been passed by a gsxr6 around the outside of turns. with a squid riding it lol

motorcycle suspension is a very personal thing. It's not like a car where your 250 lbs is less than 1% of the vehicles weight, and therefore the car can be set up "right" from the factory. If your bike doesn't handle like you want it's more likely just not setup for that individual rider. It doesn't mean brand x is bad, it just means that brand x setup their bike for a heavier or lighter rider than you. Or it was setup more for stability than flickability.

Put on some track tires with the right pressure and get the suspension set. I have a liter and a 600 and both kick hinder, but the 600 is raised in the front. I have a few CBR600RRs and they ride different from each other.
Otherwise you probably just have bad air in the tires. I always use synthetic. You might need a new filter.
When was the last time it was changed?

I change my air every trip to the track. IMO its more important than an oil change.

Never use reclaimed air if you are going to the track. I learned that one the hard way. Always use name brand.

I use nitrous. I only have to use a little. It expands so much with a little heat. 5 psi turns into 32 once warmed up.
