Rattling noise??

Ok, so my bike makes this rattling noise at higher RPM's in first and second, maybe all the way up but I cant tell because of the wind and such. I have been told different things by different mechanics, but it has been dismissed as something rattling in the exhaust. This is not the case, I put my old stock exhaust on this bike and it sounds the same. Its not coming from there, it sounds like its right beneath me. I have ridden many a 929 and none of them have made this sound. Everyone assures me the engine is ok because we would be able to hear it in neutral if it was an engine prob, but you cant. It almost sounds like something is loose down there just rattling around. I have checked everything, im totally lost. I also know that I do have stock exhaust right now (until my Akrapovic comes in next week ), and I could just not be used to hearing these noises, but its def not normal. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance for the help!

-Will

Is it more of a knocking sound or clicking sound? I know my bike makes a clicking sound that does come from the engine but R6's are known to do that.

Hey will, I used to have a 929RR and made the same exact noise but could never find out what was it. So I just strap on my helmet and the noise is gone lol. Anyways, I rode it like that for almost a year and no serious problems.
