Brain freeze trick

Next time you get BRAIN FREEZE, Press your tongue flat against the roof of your mouth, covering as much surface area as possible.

Brain freeze happens because the nerves in the roof of your mouth get extremely cold, so your brain thinks your whole body is cold. It compensates by overheating, which causes your head to hurt.

By warming up the roof of your mouth, you'll relax your brain and feel better right away !

Useful information, but ultimately pointless.

Through careful study it's been determined that the majority of people today lack the required equipment to suffer from this problem.

I did once have a brainfreeze on my bike. Drank from my iced camelbak too fast. This thread isn't very helpful though, you already have blood running through the area the nerves are in, it's going to take roughly the same amount of time for the pain to dissipate anyways. The warm tongue might make you feel better though, especially if you use the tongue of an attractive member of the opposite . (Or same if you swing that way.)

To counter steer correctly, fake left, go left.
Hard to imagine someone without a brain getting brain freeze.
