i guess it would work for a beginner, and when they grew out of it in 6 months they could just put a turbo on it or something.

I saw it race in person when I went to Mid-O for the Superbike Nats. Very nice bike, no podium finishes that weekend though IIRC. Here's a pic while in the pits.

Really what can you do with all that horsepower. Im a novice race fan but it seems like 212 rwhp is a bit much for the track also. Streetwise forgetaboutit.

it's not too much for the track considering motogp bikes are putting out like 40 more hp than that.

Motogp has had it for a while. Basically an ECU monitors certain engine and suspension parameters and that in turn makes changes to the engine timing and ignition curves to limit wheelspin. I'm sure its more complicated but you get the picture. AMA approved it for their bikes this past season. When you see these guys ride in person, it doesn't look like too much power. And these aren't even Motogp levels of power.

wsbk has had it for a while heck even the zx7rr that chris walker rode in like 2001 had it. not as modern as this probably just killed spark when the wheel spun but it was traction control though.

Yes I ride a 1000. And what you call traction control I might call something else. I was asking if it was a term that was track based. And if you have read any of my posts I've never professed to be an expert, as a matter of fact I always refer to myself as being a novice. That's why I ask questions.
