Herp derp oif the day

So, I'm driving down Northpark Rd. today when I see some dude on an older blue Yamaha R... something.. couldn't tell if it was a 6 or 1.

Guy has ZERO gear, no helmet, no gloves, no jacket. Wearing shorts, a wifebeater and some sneakers, thats it...

thats not even the bad part... get this

He had a 12GA tactical SHOTGUN slung over his shoulder with ROPE tied to the trigger-guard and the barrel making some kind of.. hillbilly gun sling.

WHAT. THE. F**K.

Damnit I was going to bust out the cameraphone and snap a few, but I was so in shock from seeing that, and my passenger chirping in with a comment that also blew me away that I neglected to acquire said image. It did happen though.

How's he supposed to carry/transport the thing?
It's kinda a pita to carry a shorter barrel shotty in a rifle case.

Havent found a local shop that carries http://www.voodootactical.net/p-34-m...ilar-guns.aspx

I've gone to the range once with my shotgun strapped to my back in a soft case. It's not as bad as when I have to haul my big bass guitar around though.

On wednesday afternoons that I have practice or a match I put my rifle in a soft case and have a pair of dog collars, rifle sling and army pistol belt contraption I made up to strap it across my back and keep it still.

My personal record for Clearlake to the Addicks reservoir area during rush hour is 30 minutes... If I don't ride like a complete it is usually 45 minutes
at 4:30-5pm

There is no other way to do it. It'd take 2 hours to do it by car at that time of day.

I heart my scooter....
