swingarm ?

If an 05-06 gsxr 1000 had a 240 kit 10in strecth would it fir an 03 busa and support the added weight from a busa?

Material of construction and under bracing will be factors. I would say yes it would though.

sweet thanks for the help? now how big of a pain in the is it to do the work myself i am not a grade a mechanic but not a complete idiot eiter is it that difficult to do in my garage?

The things to make sure of are the width where it mates with the frame, the swingarm pivot diameter, alignment of the rear sprocket to the c/s, shock clearance, and rear caliper mounting.

You may be better off buying it cheap and flipping it to buy the correct arm for your bike.

Many 1k arms as well as 600 arms interchange with the Busa with little to no modifications.

i will def look into those thing cuz i want it to be right so there are no problems in the future and if it don't fit correctly then i will just have to flip it for the correct one but i'm hoping all goes well with this one

No they don't cross

I have a busa & an 06 1k on my lifts right now. Different bearings & tube width.

The older 1000's cross but not that year.
