Yeah , he was still close to the fire , but for sure great job & courage by the crowd.

It's ok because the car was at fault....

I'm guessing a helmet would have probably killed him. All that smoke inside a helmet surely would cause axphysiation.

I think they've done good and it was right thing to do in the situation.
Unfortunately our society functions in such a way that the people are afraid of doing something like that.. I mean what if they have had drop the car and kill the guy? Or person who pulled him under the car at the same time caused some severe injuries to the guy? Would these people be prosecuted?

A quick Google shows Utah has a good Samaritan law so those people are fine. So does Texas.
