clutch lever lose ?

i was ridin this morning and i am starting to feel the clutch level gettin lose.


there is like almost an Inch of free play in it
this seems bad ? :BangHead: im not sure

There should be a cable tension adjuster at the lever, or some where between the lever and the clutch. That seems like an awful lot of slack

would that be the little disk that can be turned ?i can see the cable itself, and a washer like that can be turned.

thankx, ill go fiddle with that.
i need a website with some practical applications about bikes [ i only know how 2 work on cars :( ]
like, im not even sure if i have 2 change fluids out and stuff

Don't make it super tight though, you should leave a little less than half an inch of play in the lever to insure the clutch is fully engaging.

ok the black thing is ur handle bar silver thing is ur clutch...there should be a lil where the red circle istheres an arrow pointing to it...turn that to tighten ur clutch lever
