. That's a bad accident and you're very fortunate to have minimal injuries from it.

Don't take this the wrong way (I'm a mom and I hate to be lied to), but it's obvious from all of of who ride daily that there is a lot more to this accident than you're telling us. That's okay. You didn't have to say anything to us; you still don't have to tell us. I realize you're very young (I know you think you're grown and sexy), but one day you'll have to own your actions - that's the day you'll be an adult.

Be safe out there. Get another bike and ride responsibly on the streets. If you want to race or ride fast, then take it to the track.

Do I ALWAYS ride slow? No. I tend to hit 80 on the highways, but if I'm on side streets I try to pay more attention and slow down, because that's where most of the accidents happen.

. That is painful. Especially on your sides. Did your jacket ride up? It looks awful. That's my biggest fear if/when I go down - my jackets sit high, because they are cut high (girl style).

Glad to hear you're okay, sorry to hear you're losing a friend. At least, I know I would be if a 'friend' did that to me.

Heal up and spend some down time thinking about emergency maneuvers. Escape routes and practice, more escape routes and more practice. Big empty parking lots are your friend and cops really won't mess with you if you aren't stunting or being obnoxious with it.

Thanks for the advice but another bike won't be in my future for awhile as I have several death threats against me by friends and family if I turn up with another one after surviving the same wreck that killed my friend Matt not a few(?) weeks ago on his 1125r.

Oh, sorry. RIP Matt. Very sad. I'm glad you lived to see another day and another year - sorry to hear you're giving up on riding, though. There are ways to ride safely - TRACK!

Far as i know they're all still frends... They were worried, but stayed calm, i'd say out of everyone present, the only person acting panicd/stressed/upset was one of the constables
On the scene.

Squoddy, yeah his jacket has some burns on the underside edge and the line of the burns matches where his belt fit.
