18 wheeler

josh houle was a dear close friend of mine. I had the pleasure of growing up w/ him. His ex-wife & is & has been my bestfriend for over 20 years. Just to put the record straight he was NOT doing burn outs. That account was total bullshit. Law enforcement had true eye witness accounts & also pulled surveillance video from near by stores. And he was not trying to beat the 18 wheeler thru the intersection, he came over a hill & yes he was going a high rate of speed but that's a bad stretch of road due to visibility or lack there of. There have been so many inaccuraste accounts of that night that it sickens me. Still can't get that POS reporter who posted most of the bs to contact myself or the family back. Scott Engle's is his name & he also initially posted pics showing things that noone has the right to see especially Josh' 3 kids. There now the record is straight. RIP Josh...Gone but never forgotten..see you on the other side buddy

I'm sorry for your loss, its very sad, even more so for the ones he left behind... But seriously, he should know better than to speed at NIGHT, over a HILL over a bad stretch of road. Anyways, may he RIP

Ok it's important to know, the cause of the accident...wasn't stupidity, but stupidity. There's nothing wrong with that section IF you're paying attention and doing the speed limit.

1. Engle is not a reporter, he's a stringer.
2. Do you expect the witnesses who told Engle what they saw to contact you and the family?

RIP
Too many. Way too many riders doing down with really bad outcomes.
Paryers to the family and friends.

So I guess some injuries are compatible with life. . . . . ?? You can live through a lot of injuries, but what a weird choice of words.

"Incompatible with life" is just the medical community's euphemism for: "person is going to die and there is nothing we can do for him/her to change that inevitable outcome". I've heard that before, and not in ways I would wish upon anyone.

Given the description of the accident, sounds entire possible that his injuries were such that he was NOT going to recover, and any life support the emergency crew could have rendered was just going to prolong his suffering and not alter the inevitable. Better to let him go in peace.

Thread revival? I imagine they use that terminology since a priest or judge or doctor has to claim a person dead not a paramedic so they use that term I think.
