I know its not motogp but....

Speed Comparison: GT vs. F1

Pretty good comparison of the two.. I remember when they had the grandprix races downtown which was bad . In 2012 Austin, TX is supposed to be building a formula 1 facility and host races throughout the season. It will bethe FIRST US city to host any of the races yet alone throughout the season, since the Indianapolis in 07.

Ever since I lived in Europe and had the opportunity to go to the races...I've been a huge fan. The speed is nice, but the technology is just amazing. Lot's of good tech stuff...

Ex. Designing the rear wing so that it can open up in the straights to increase speed....

I love me some F1. The amount of time, $$, and technology invested is shocking.

Great comparison.

I worked the GrandPrix in Denver when they made downtown a course..it was eye opening. Those cars are no joke.

The Austin F1 track is currently being built and it is on the 2012 schedule. It will be the second to last race so a very very important race if the points standings are close. Its going to be in November i believe...

and i think in 2013 Moto GP

CART doesnt really compare to F1 i dont think. It would be interesting to see how the older 1200hp F1 cars compare to modern 800hp F1 cars.

Unless you're blind you'll notice that it isn't GT on the left.

F1 on right, public track day on left.
