I will have to agree with new rider.. we all don't get on all the bikes alike, period. Before getting

My bee (R1), I researched, sat, weighed, looked, and studied every other bike, I really wanted a

Evo, 848 ducati but boy.. that seat would give me nightmares, stiff. And the sound of the spinnin

Clutch was just enough to make me pull my calculator out. GSXRs are awesome, but couldn't get

Numbers running... and then there's the all media acclaimed awesome which everybody know by

The alphabetic reference, the double R!.. gosh.. too bad didn't like the sound of it

IMO the look of the 06+ r6 just looks alot better the other 600s. so sleek and aggressive. hopefully youll get the right bike for you. Wheelies are nice too.. just sucks at gas tank spreaders.. since the tank is so sloped.. but yeah haha

R6 is my first "real" sportsbike and I have to say it has been a challenge to ride. But once you learn how to handle it and hear that 16k RPM scream there's no turning back.

And u wanted to ride mine?!
You would've yourself if u thought the r6 was too much power
I like my bike because it sits fairly aggressive but is still somewhat comfy... And has crazy amounts of mid range power

I started on an F4i, and it felt comfortable from day one. Now that I have an R6, I do see a big difference. R6 is not as comfy as the F4i, but it is more aggressive.
I didn't feel comfortable on the R6 right of the bat, because of the aggressive style, but after a few adjustments and some seat time, it grew on me. You have to give it time to adjust to the change.

Now that I'm comfortable on my R6, the F4i would probably feel odd.

R6 FTW!!!

you could adjust the suspension geometry a little to suit your needs. my first bike was a R6 track that i converted back to street use. the rear was raised up a bit (atleast it seemed like it was to me) and had a very agressive attack angle.

The way it was set up when i bought it I didnt have a steering damper and at low speed(less that 20 mph) if i let go of the handle bars the bars would turn quick to the left or right. once i got a damper on it, it was awesome at the track and i could throw it around easily.

Thank for taking care of it! I can honestly say you looked uncomfortable on it, I think you were looking for a comfy position, but....there isnt one. Ridin the R6 is like a pornstar, really fun, but a workout the whole time,. The Honda is a veloptous chick you can cuddle with that goes down on you. Just sayin

If it's going to be for mostly street then you should get an R1. I think they are a little more comfortable and actually have some midrange. Sucks riding down the freeway and having the engine screaming when you are just trying to get the bike in the power band just to quickly pass a car or two.
