i really enjoyed my shoei rf 1000 its was comfortable, low road noise, and fairly light for me, lasted almost 3 yrs

I agree with orangeCBR1000. I have both the rf-1000 and thr corsair v i love both of them but i favor the corsair. I went down the arai and im on my 2nd one and love it

Have you considered a Suomy Spec R1? I had an RF-1000 and the cheek pads wore out and got pretty bad pretty quick, When I moved to the Suomy I haven't had any issues to date. Fits better, stiffer feel and I love the airflow.

Just a heads up if you haven't thought about it yet.

Same here. I went down to 2wheeltoyz because they were having a huge sale on their HJC carbons and I was expecting to buy one until I tried it on. Padding was and the quality wasn't the same as Shoei or Arai.
