PPl crash all the time on the Forest Ride do you tell them " oh your crashed you shouldn't have that bike it's to "fast" for you" If he has a sport bike y in the would she get a cruiser. don't make sense. idoits. picking up the feet when the bike starts moving I lol at this. you pick up ur feet when u feel like it. No matter what MH bashes ppl. Either way he is going to do what he wants. Bunch of hypocrites on here.
Don't get butthurt cause you did fine without MSF or a small bike at first. Chances are you weren't dumb enough to get yourself into any serious trouble when you were learning on your own. I don't know that about the OP's girl so I'm going to suggest what I consider the safest route. I know he didn't solicit that information but as far as I know he is fairly new and could use all the advice he could get. BTW, I started with a 750 and have yet to take MSF. It's already been posted numerous times the many reasons to start out on a small bike. I'm sure you've seen it before. If you respectfully disagree, then that's fine too. We're both proof that there is more than one way to learn.

But whatever be a Racer X douche bag, was a simple question. But no, MH cant seem to comprehended when some one asks a question.
No he didn't he asked

he did say she can't touch on stock height but if she knew how to ride she would just have to touch enough to get leverage to hold the bike when it's not moving. You don't have to flatfoot a bike to be able to ride it. If you really have 4 years experience, you should know that. Ok, Mr. Reading Comprehension.

geezus......this thread went totally Apesh!t!!!! As far as I know it is not an option to not take msf anymore. You need the certificate of completion from some kind of accredited begginers course before u can go to the dmv and take your written exam. So this should put a stop to the msf arguement. Just trying to help, so dont flame me bwahahaahahahahaha

You understand that MSF is required to get a license now right? There is no way around it. Unless of course you promote riding dirty?

Everyone can could benefit from having their first street bike experience in MSF. I would much rather than them NOT exercise their learning curve on the roads I am driving. Can you learn with without it? Yes, but I guarantee the basics will come much slower. Just because you can ride to the stop sign at the end of your street, without falling over, does not mean you are ready for the dangers of the open road. ...and it also does not get you licensed.

To the OP. I spent about $300 lowering my wife's bike. That included lower links, labor and lowering the front end. She is not quite as short as yours at 5'4". The best we could get was her on the of her feet. Not flat footing and not tip toes but she was very comfortable. I think comfortable should be the goal.
