New to the scene
I am interested to buying a bike...since i work way too far and gas on my truck is killing me.
Any suggestions for a starter bike? And also where to buy?

Look on CL and our "for sale" section.
Might want to look at comfort vs sport for your long commute.
Do a search on first bikes....tons of info posted already...

08 ninja 250r
take msf sponsored basic riders course if you haven't already.
for daily riding get a 250 or scooter if you want gas savings. my cbr600rr gets ~30mpg on premium, my ninja 250 gets ~50mpg on regular. cbr sucks in traffic more than the 250, because the substantialy more powerful motor makes a bunch of heat which cooks my legs.
