From what I understand that is what happened. Lady was going fast (for a turn), no blinker, then all of a sudden, briskly slowed down/turned. But thats not for me to decide, just offering my 2 cents to humbleassassin if he wishes to explore the "at fault" route.

looks painful, but you are at fault dood. same thing happened to a buddy of mine back when cars were dinosaur powered. he was in a pass and a lady turned left in to his path. his fault.
