Hmmmmmm, I might like to participate. I need more info on classes and what is legal for each. Do I have to call Randy to find that out?

Mad dog bikes are mostly XR100s, TTR125s, and CRF150F's. The max is around 170cc air cooled 4 stroke I think.

^^^ you are close
has to start life as a 150cc or smaller, 2 valve air cooled, 175cc max.
tire rules depend on where your racing...at this race there are no knobies allowed!!
there is usually a min. age since this a money paying class (16-21) again depending where your racing.

dont see quads on the flyer.
also...the minibike class is the kids class, not pit bikes. call the # if you have enough show they would probably make a class for you

any dual sport tire...cheng shin makes a good one that is also pretty cheep.
dirt track tires are all 19" and 17"
roadrace rain tires work great if you have 17" wheels!

I've always wanted to give flattrack a shot. No bike (yet). This forum needs a sticky like TMGP but for flattrack... overview, getting started, practice spots etc.

I wonder if they will make any exceptions on the minimum age requirement rule for the money classes.
Jay said he would like to do it, but wants to race for some cash!!!

Hoping it is the old Huffman track. That track is nice and wide and you can get some speed.

Highlands is just a bit too small, but a roundy round track just the same.

I know where there is one at in the Conroe, Montgomery area.

Hint, Hint !!!
