1st off welcome to MotoHouston

2nd riders deal with this every day all over the place. It's something that you get used to after about a year of riding, thats how long it took for me. Take your time and dont bother carry change or ceramic anything to throw at people. it'll only get you killed.

If you havent taken the MSF course check out one of are coolest sponsors on MH Awesome Cycles. Challen and his team are amazing when it comes to teaching new and old riders alike how to ride . I can't tell you how many times I've used what they taught me to keep from wrecking.

What he means is if you did indeed feel a slip, it was probably because you weren't being smooth enough with the throttle. Unless you were pushing your traction limits, which you probably weren't if there's still chicken strips on you're tire. Sometimes what feels like a slip isn't.

Just got to learn to let some go out there on the roads man. You won't ever enjoy yourself if you let all the and idiots out there you off. Use the speed of your bike has to avoid bad situations. Pull over for cops, its usually alot cheaper that way and some may even let you slide. You said crab river road you slipped was it a tar snake?

i was so sure my tires sucked when it slipped one time changing lanes like a squid. after several track days I found it was all because I was chopping the throttle in a corner . Thanks to Houseofpain I learned it was me that sucked not the tire
