What's a good rear tire for a 600RR?

What's up Forum!
I'm about to change my rear tire, what's a good tire brand/model that has good grip when you lean into corners?
And where do you buy it in Houston for the best prices? Should I buy it at a store or at the shop who's installing it?

thanks!

What front tire do you have? You may want to keep the same brand and type front and back as they work as a set. Much depends on the type of riding you do as well. Are you a commuter? Headed to the track? Different tires would be optimal for these extremes.

To get the best price, I usually mail order my tires, remove the wheels from the bike, and take the wheels and tires to the shop for mounting.

Good luck.

If you decide getting the BT-016 rear tire I have a front tire with less than 1k miles I'll sell to you for cheap.

if you are running bt016 in the front already just get the same brand/model to match the front, it is never advisable to run different tires.

hey but 4real... its time for you to take some mechanical and safety classes buddy... I hear a lot of good things about Motor cycle unlimited (Patric) does some classes that teach you about bikes and service.. its time for you to really know what you're doing other then getting on that bike when as we all know ITS UNSAFE!!!!

Bikes are a blast!! but they are not just anything that you put gas and go.. you need to take care of it so you dont end up eating because your rear tire looks like its slick tire with no thread.

Be safe out there and wake up before its too late.. Go out and meet people.. ask questions.

if you want stop by or hit me up!
