New to ATV's

So I don't know a thing about the different models, brands, prices, etc. Maybe you guys could help save me some time scouring the interweb. Looking for a small bore, super reliable, and cheap atv. I don't want to be spending a bunch of time maintaining it. I already have a Land Rover and a Husqvarna so the last thing I need it another high maintenance toy. This is just for the fam to play on so I don't want it to be fast. Like a 250 or something. Something that there are lots of aftermarket stuff available for. Don't want it to be too old either so models made after 07 or so would suffice.

420 Honda Rancher ATV

I knew nothing of ATVS and after reading on it a bit I bought a 2008 Honda 420 Rancher 2 wheel Drive. It has been a great machine and a lot of fun - I made NO Modifications even tires remain stock. it is FI and Water Cooled.
I like the 2 wheel as it is not as heavy as the 4 wheel drive and less money too.
If your not into playing in the Mud or Bolder crawling and have some riding skills I do not see the need for the 4 wheel drive.
The Honda is well designed, No Belts to slip and engine side mount so crank and transmission and drive shaft rotate on same axis. Mine is the manual foot shift, note clutch is automatic. It may be faster than you need published top speed is 50 or 52 mph.

Good Luck

I would get a used late model Yamaha Blaster. You can usually find them pretty cheap, and it's a 200 cc 2 stroke. I've never actually ridden one, but they look like fun little quads.

Also, since it's a 2 stroke if you ever do need to tear into the engine it will be a lot cheaper and easier.
