I love when I see SMR guys out on 1489 and they've got their all the way off the seat, knee out, and they're doing no more than 60 through the turn

I was thinking the same thing! I threw my busa around A LOT more than that, and minus all the 100+ on the straights and of other bikers

I know I should trust Darwin's Law but sometimes it takes too long.
From the 2:40 to 4:40 mark where the curves begins there are no houses, driveways around.

Saying that we are the only riders that go faster than we should on public roads is just not being realistic, i am very sure you have gone over the posted speed limit more times than you should either on two or four wheels.

Those are long, lazy curves that a bike like a busa or 14 are made for. They're incredibly stable at speed and will absolutely eat that up without effort.
I sat on his bike before and it felt really big and heavy to me, wouldnt feel confident taking the corners as fast as i usually do. This is the first time i see a big touring bike able to keep up with faster and more agile sport bikes, plenty of busas have joined our rides before but they usually fall way back once we hit the first turn.

i'd fall back past that point because i don't see the need in doing 160 on a straight road. I'd rather ride a constant 80-90

What? Are we supposed to be impressed? Seriously. So he's going fast on a reasonably straight rode.

He was also passing people in their lane and in corners. If he was on a ride with my group of friends, there'd be people wanting to kick his .

too good for the street now i suppose, this is not a street vs track thread but since you mentioned it...... last sunday Carlos Lascale joined us with a few of his racing buddies, in case you dont know who he is, he is an expert cmra racer running somewhere in the 1:34 at MSRH and yet still humble enough to ride the streets with us when he is not racing

the rider on the ZX14 is at the track most of the times, so maybe you should go ask him what level he is riding in person next time!
