If you want low maintenance then the 610 would be more suitable. They still require a bit of it but not as much as the 510. The DRZ is about as maintenance free as you can get. Basically have the maintenance schedule of any other street bike.

DRZ is the . Little bit of a pig out the gate but easy to mod and make a beast. And will do everything you want. Pretty much a exhaust and carb and you have a new bike, new cams and gaskets, more noticeable power gain, BB kit whole new bike again. Its all small little step that will keep you entertained with the bike and still keep in trouble free!

That's what I would buy if I could. I need a new dirt bike and something for longer rides. Could kill two birds and get stoned right there, but the kitchen monitor says I have to buy an atv so she has something to play with before I buy anymore bikes.
