Currently

Unemployed, but before that the delivery business for 16 years all aspects everything from pizza to pallets; customer service, delivery, warehouse, and tech support for proprietary software, until I was laid off... It did however allow me to reconsider school (and knock out a few hours; now if I can get figure out physics and get a B in Cal 3 hopefully I will be UH bound) so hopefully in the next 3-4 years I will be some sort of mechanical enginerd.

Allegedly on Monday I will be again under employed as I start a job in some sort of advertising business or as best I can tell sending spam to people for products they don't really need that further hinder their financial situation and add to the financial apocalypse of the new millenia...

Goody goody.

I will taste all the wine you want to buy, and exterminator/contract killer are similar enough that they could be grouped together. As well as adult caring (care taker)/gigolo/escort, or staffing agency/flesh peddler/pimp.

I am sure there are others but the soup of the day is working way too well.

BTW soup of the day today is whiskey.

Police vehicle collision reconstructionist. I'm the guy who mops up the really bad ones, does scene maps with survey equipment, photographs all the gore and and burned out vehicles, gets speeds from evidence/skids/slides/data recorders, and the guy that testifies at civil trials that are sometimes into the tens of millions of dollars of litigation.

I also teach that trade to other po-po's.

Oh, I do not have a chip on my shoulder to cite riders, and I will never even think of taunting someone on the internet or otherwise about a citation I issued them. I think that kind of behavior is undignified and unprofessional.

I was taught what we want is compliance with the law, not brutal enforcement of the law. I think that is a wise approach.

I've been in my profession for 23 years, and am going another 7 and out. 30 is enough.

Recently got outta school with a biochemistry / psychology degree. Right now I work for a company that is contracted with the government for getting veterans evaluated by doctors (to include psychologists, audiologists, etc) in order for them to get compension / pension for whatever service related medical problem. My job (in very short) is to ensure whatever evaluation's performed on veterans are thorough, appropriate, and fall under the guidelines of what the VA requires these evaluations to entail. I've gone through all sorts of reports... from PTSD evaluations to Diabetes to traumatic brain injury evaluations.

I've worked in the IT department for this company programming / designing evaluation worksheets as well. I would like to either go to medical school in the future or become a professor and do research in neuroscience. We'll see where life takes me.

What do I do? I talk on the phone and go to meetings. And in between, I smooth out the wiggles in the process.

My job is implementing and supporting advanced process control applications in a chemical plant, and my degree is in chemical engineering.

I'm proud to say that in my job, I'm having fun at least 50% of the time I spend at work. In some other jobs, the fun quotient has been 10% or less, so I'm planning to stick with the job I've got.

Poor pimp, so had to get a full time job as a designer. Was really looking to reach out my pimp hand a little further, but age is catching up to me.

I am a machinist by trade for now. I was the a/v director and pianist for a major resort in central Texas. I started as an executive driver for v.i.p clientele until I got noticed by the owner of the resort. I have been in many fields of profession and these days, when I am not machining I offer my services in blade sharpening and primitive weapon restoration/reconditioning. Oh, and I also teach gymnastics.

Volunteer EMT with a fire department and full time paramedic student. I really need a paying job though...volunteering doesn't get the bills paid.
