Track 21

Who can give me some info on Track 21. Some buds and I are thinking about going tomorrow to check it out. The website is a little misleading to me.

I know where it is. Do you have to take some kind of training/license course before you can ride? Price?

I decided to go with the membership. You can get the membership and buy the first tracktime but then you get the next tracktime free (with the membership). They also have specials with the membership, such as 1/2 price on certain days, etc. They also keep your waiver on file with the membership where you don't have to fill it out every time. It is addictive, so if you plan on going more often, get the membership right away.

Without the membership, you pay full price and have to sign a waiver every time. If you get a group of six people, you can get a discount, which sometimes is more cost-efficient than getting the membership. So, if you just want to go once, then get a group together for a good price.

I'd recommend bringing your own helmet, otherwise you have to pay $2 bucks for the liner and wear their helmet.

Closed shoes are needed. You have to be over 18 to drive the go-carts.

We are actually planning on being out there Friday night so maybe we'll see you there!

They have some sort of racing karts, but they are reserved. Their normal karts have plenty of speed. There are differences between the karts themselves such as some as better brakes than others, and some accelerate faster than others. I let you figure them out yourself, I don't want to give away the fast ones because I might end up fighting you over them.

Geesh, you guys post fast.

There is no need for a training course. They recommend you take the little course first but since it is mostly occupied with little kids, they don't force you :icon_smil
