PLEASE HELP!!!

my key wont turn to the on position, i tried graphite and wd 40 to loosen it up but nothing worked.. i dont know what to do.. i can lock it but i cant turn it to on.. oh yeah its a 2002 gsxr 600.. any help could be useful. its my only transportaion

push it down, when in locked position you might need to push it down further to turn it back into on

if the above doesn't work then its your lock set IF the key is 100% straight. if its not then go get a new key made

this is a long shot but did you try flipping the key around, use to happen to me all the time and I take the key out and flip it, some how it worked better one way versus the other way,might be a straight key and not bi, LOL

If u got a GOOD key Made and it didn't fix it then your lock cylinder is messed up. Call us if you want to order a new one

where did you get your "new key" if you did it at ace hardware or wally its going to be a duplicate, and probably worse off than the original. If you put wd-40 and graphite you just shot yourself in the foot. when you mix graphite (dry lube) with wd (not dry lube) its gets clumpy. You best bet now is the take the switch off and have it cleaned and a fresh key cut.

use a small hammer and LIGHTLY tap the key as you try to turn more than likely a hung tumbler
