when you did something bad, did your mom make you wait a yr before spanking (if she did)........mine didn't............it was swift and harsh.

another reason i couldn't be a cop.......i'd tazer all the stupid F!@#, and laugh about it.

No doubt.

Guess the dude knew with the copter he wasn't getting away so he gave up or his gas light was on. Should have went to an airport they(copters) can't fly over an airport (not that I have done this or anything)

If they choose to run, should be fair game/open season.

Wanna play, gonna pay. But I advocate stiffer laws overall anyhow. Didn't have near the problems back in the 17-1800's, when everyone packed a six gun.

The airport is probably a pretty bad place to go.

I can't believe they didn't even make him lay down when they arrested him. Harric Co. sheriffs would have tackled that dude.

after 9/11 thats the last place i would want to run too in a chase... they have mini police stations at the airport with atleast 30 cops... plus you got the feds... and what not... BAD idea..you would lose the chopper and pick up a bunch of ground units..

I know this sounds retarded, but when I lived in the Hill Country, at night, I always thought that if you absolutely had to get away, that jumping into the river and trying to float away might work.

Some bad officer safety there. Get criticized for kicking , get criticized for not kicking . I'm surprised that the chopper kept up. An HPD helicopter was out run by a bandido on a Harley a few years back. But then thats city equipment for ya.

looks like he should have disappeared before the chopper had a chance to find him. being LA though, they probablly have 2 per square mile. wait, doesn't LA have a no chase policy?

the problem i keep running into is Suzuki thought it would be funny to forget to put a switch for the head light. its kinda hard creepin those backstreets with a headlight and taillight blazing. one time i just reached up and unpluged mine at the harness. might be putting them on a switch soon.
