I may be wrong on this, but walking into an ER clinic vs walking into the actual ER is probably the same cost through your insurance because they're both ERs. Perhaps what they ultimately bill the insurance company maybe more at the actual hospital ER, but your insurance probably says that its like $200 (cost to you) for going to an ER. Check the back of your insurance card. Most of them tell you what the deductible going to the ER is.

1+ on Kelsey-Seybold...ask for orthopaedic specialist that deals with lower extriemites(knees/ankles)
They will x-ray first and possible ct or mri if it looks suspicious..

glad you are okay !!! and for the ignorant jack that took off, i say fk him. sucky part is, your premium may go a little higher with geico, regardless they get their money back or not.

btw i just went to ER after my car accident, memorial herman next to memorial city mall. My bills came out 3200 for 4 x-rays, 2 mins of Dr check up, 1 shot and urine test. just saying, might be better off just making an appointment and going to a specialist.

Glad you're ok.

Fill in some gaps. Did they arrest the driver? Is he in jail now? Lawyer the up right now! Gieco, Enterprise have lawyers and so should you. Not that jim adler either.

I got run over in Austin by a drunk chick that (drove) from the scene. At the ER at 3am. was in jail by 5am. Also stoned, maybe no insurance, car not in her name. Just bullshit after bullshit. My lawyer was the best thing I had.

Point is nothing is cut and dry. CYA!

Could have been worse, glad youre "ok". Im still out of commission from my little fall and I used St Lukes & Kelsey.

Did the GF give up all his info, or do the "I just met him at the club" routine?

Someone will need to id him as the driver....

That really sucks. Strange coincidence with the tank, since you were just talking about there being a defect with it.
