Best retail gear selection in town?

I need some new track gloves (full length). What retail shop in town has the best in stock selection of gloves so I can try some on?

Cycle Gear has a large selection. Are you willing to travel to Motorcycles Unlimited for the discount and great customer service?

Arturo - Yeah man I know all about Motorcycles Unlimited and Patrick's great customer service. Patrick's even bringing me items I need to the track Saturday, now that's great service! People, don't hesitate to look at Motorcycles Unlimited first for everything. I'm going up to Patrick's shop soon anyway and will see what he has.

Cycle Gear's good, and close to me. Today they didn't have anything on hand I really liked, though.

Anywhere else I can look?

Full length racing gloves preferably with external stitching and they need to be soft/comfortable. Want something with palms that grip the controls well. My current cheap Frank Thomas pair are hard and stiff. I'm looking for something I can get a little bit better feeling of the controls from. Any ideas Max? What do you use?

imo, i've read too many times of the palms busting out on the a*'s. i'm running helds. i got a pair of the kryptons, galaxys and phantoms. i picked up the kryptons for a cheap price, and went down in them. they did the job fine, but they were wore and the armor was damaged bad enough after that they need to be retired. they have amazing feel and such, but aren't as robust as either the galaxys or phantoms, and are more of a one crash and replace type.

i doubt you can wear the same size as me, but i can bring them down sometime sat to msrh if you want me to. you can take a look at them and try them out on the track for a few sessions if you'd like.

Thanks. I don't think I've ever even noticed a Kawi place there when I pass by. I am new to Houston though. I'll check them out.

I've worn them about 10 times to see if maybe they would stretch a bit but they didn't. They've never been down in, greasy or wet, so they are in new condition. Listed for 90 on the vanson website I'm lookin for 50.

I had a nice set of tecknics I got from Motorcycles Unlimited that were comfy and well constructed. They held up pretty good in my buddy's crash.
I'm wearing some A* GP-plus now that I got at cycle gear. Fit is decent, but the tecknics seem like higher quality glove.
