Deep pockets. That's what you should name your bike. Looks great! What kind of mileage are you getting out of a tank of fuel?

Thanks guys for the props.

I wouldn't say deep pockets. Took me 2 years of spending every extra peeny I've had to make it like this.

I get about 70 miles to a tank with 13/40 gearing.

Been thinking of a girl name..... Nothing yet though.

FYI, most of my friends say that they would be scared to ride it. I've had the same components on it before powder. And I rode the out of it. I tell them, I have a really nice camera and I am going to take good pics when I'm done. After that, it's to pay.

This makes me want to build a SM and i think this just sealed the deal. I have a question how hard is the maintnace on one of this SM i keep hearing its a pain but ive always been a firm believe if you ride the out of it but keep it well sorted out itll be like any other bike you ride. Very Sweet SM 225

You have to consider the fact that this is a full on racing MX bike before the conversion. That bike was made for starting line to finish line all out type of riding and not for cruising highways and putting on alot of miles. So, in general, it's going to be a high maintenance bike in comparison to a bike made from the factory to be ridden on the street.

I would be changing the oil after x amount of riding hours. Not necessarily based on miles ridden.

I would clean the air filter often.

Valve checks should be done often compared to a normal street bike.

That still leaves top end rebuilds after x amount of riding time as well. How long a top end will last varies.

That probably sounds alot worse than it actually is. BUT... All of that would be well worth it.
