2001 Honda Valkyrie

Thumbs up New on

My wife and I are native Houstonians but lived the last twelve years in Dallas. Moved back here when we retired last year. Not knowing where to get my bike worked on, I asked biker friends and just about anybody I happened to talk with. Got three answers: 1) Don't know, 2) Don't go to (fill in the name of practically every shop or dealer you ever heard of), or 3) Go to Cycles Unlimited. When I looked online for blogs, ads, etc. I found pretty much the same thing. I also found I'm glad I found both.
Took my bike to CU today to get forkabsorbers (new word) rebuilt, brake pads and new tires. I miss my bike. I won't miss oil leaking all over my front wheel, brakes, tire and on the floor of the garage, or the tires that were overdue for replacement. Looking forward to those new ME880's and a smooth ride! Thomas (good luck to you and your Dad racing Sunday), Luke, Patrick and the guys at CU I haven't met yet- I know you'll take the best care of my Valkyrie. Six carbs, six cylinders, six pipes and two wheels- what a ride!
See you here on and on the road. Be safe...
